"Best bat I ever owned. I played all season long last year with this bat using it for practice and games. This after a season where I went through six bats, including a composite. After the season was over, I decided to keep using it for my cage bat. Every week for six months I've gone in and hit 150 80mph pitches and the thing just keeps trucking. It is virtually unbreakable, the ball just explodes off the barrel (and bloops the hell out of jam shots) and it looks amazing. Sorry, 2013, but I got a 2012 sapelle one and its a piece of art as well as a great bat. People constantly ask about it. Also, John's customer service when I was trying to decide which one to get was absolutely the best ever. If I needed to, I'd buy all my bats from MacDougall. But the things are so indestructible that may mean one every three years. Ah well. I'll look forward to it at least! Also, it feels way better than hitting a composite bat. You should know that, this feels like hitting a real wood bat, not a graphite stick with a wooden wrapper. Like they say, buy the best, cry once. Its worth every penny."

"I have had my Powerwood for just over a year. When I first used it in a game, an umpire checked it to see if it was legal, because the way the ball was jumping of the bat, and because of its design. I have had numerous people ask me about the bat and where can they get one."

"Impressive! Bat is BEAUTIFUL, but its performance may top its looks! My son went 4 for 6 in his Legion game last night. Two of the four hits were 340' blasts off the left field wall. Most people were questioning if he was using a real wood bat! We hit a lot of balls, so I will let you know how it holds up. Thanks, Charles McLean"

"This bat is truly a step above all the others. It's has tons of pop, is super strong and not to mention it looks great. It swings better than any other bat and the balance is unmatched. Even after tons of abuse the balls still fly off the bat like it was the first time swinging it. No bat compares to it. "

"I really appreciated your personal call to me last Monday to talk about my son's MacDougall bat. My son and I are true converts of your bats. This is Brett's third one, and he really likes them. As long as I am the one buying the bats, they'll be MacDougalls, for their longevity, if nothing else. I bought him another standard wood bat for a backup recently for $90.00, that only lasted one week. What a waste of money! "

"I bought your bat after we came to Bend Oregon for a memorial day tourney. We had a woodbat tourney 4th of July weekend. All the boys had different wood and or composite bats. By the end of our first tourney there was one bat being used. You guessed it - it was the MacDougall bat. The kids loved it due to the tremendous pop! Thanks, look forward to future purchases!"

"I was a bit curious how a wood bat company could give such a warranty of 3 months. I figured for the price if it got broke it would pay for it self. If it didn't that would be better. Well I bought the bat for my son. The very first time he put it in his hands he loved the weight and the balance. Has used it for legion, a team of 19 and under. Has hit the ball very solid. And has also stated if the bat breaks after the warranty, he still wants to get another. He has swung many wood bats, but this is the best one for him. Thanks for making the bat."

"The Bat has been working great!!!! I just recently was in a tourney up in Whistler with it and was the only one to hit a Homerun. The ball went over left center field. Felt great off the bat. The Bat has been used a lot and has been performing oustandingly"

"I bought M-10 model last August and I love it. The handle on it split due to a manufacturing defect, but John was very quick to make sure I had a new one in my hands. The company works great with customers and provides a quality product. "

".....I got jammed and the ball still went to the warning track and the bat was fine. It is balanced good too and has a lot of pop... "

"I'm a senior in high school and for the past five years I've been playing in wood bat tournaments. I've used many composite type bats but nothing compares to the PowerWood™ bat. When I first hit with it I noticed how well the ball jumped off the bat. It feels like real wood because it is real wood. In January I played in a Pre-Season All America tournament in Arizona and went 3 for 3 with a double and a triple. The PowerWood will be in my bag at future tournaments."

"I first used the "Doogie" last summer in the playoffs of the West Coast League (summer collegiate). I couldn't believe the feel, balance and pop. The quality and durability is the best. Thanks for the great support and making a quality wood bat here in the Northwest."

"Dear John: My name is Robert Glendinning and I am from Perth Western Australia. I have gotten ahold of your bat from my coach, Steve Fish and may I say it is the best bat I have ever swung! I am 15 years old and have high level experience travelling the world and playing for Australia. Thank you for the creation of your bats."
